When called Heisman candidate, the first running back Adrian Peterson, Oklahoma, is many people think, but not too far behind its name is Cal's Marshawn Lynch. He was The best kept secret in the Pac 10 in the last 2 seasons, playing in almost darkness, well, ok, how about in the shadow of USC's Reggie Bush and Lendal White, but I have a novelty for the average fan or casual ... The Secret Is Out! Lynch is the most complete BACK IN COLLEGE, and the NFL has taken note!
Lynch a junior who is a Social Welfare major, was a Prep Star and Super Prep All-American and the San Francisco Chronicle East Bay Player of the year at Oakland Tech, not to mention Rivals.com him to place No. 2 prep running back in the United States in 2003, when he rushed for 1722 yards and caught 17 passes in eight games in the regular 2003 season.
In Lynch freshman year (2004), he was named to the Freshman All-America team by Rivals.com seconds and was third-team choice on The Sporting News Freshman "team. Lynch was 628 meters on 71 carries, on average, Pac-10-(top 8.8 meters per carry says a lot since Bush was still playing at USC) and 52.3 yards per game ... he caught 19 passes for 147 yards in limited duty for 10 touchdowns (8 achieved, rushing 2) obtained. Lynch returned kickoffs for 372 yards, averaging 24.8 yards per Experiment, 23 Rank at the national level.
Last season (2005) Lynch finished the season seventh nationally with an average of 124.6 running yards per game He was in the country, in the ninth all-purpose yards (164.2), while his appointment Honorable Mention All-Pac-10. Marshawn third in noise and in all-purpose yardage in the Pac-10, where he rushed for 1246 yards in less than 10 full games.
Marshawn Lynch is one of the greatest running backs to play in the country with large home ability to run make, every time he addresses the nutritional vacuum cleaner manufacturers rocks, and can be a bruising between that runner is fast enough to keep them outside take. He is a well-built RB (5'11, 217 kg) in accordance with outstanding speed (4.37), hands and vision. He is the rock, the outside or deals between the run. Lynch also has something a lot of patience and explode, if it meets the hole. Marshawn is a more than capable blocker and maybe the best RB (that a draft worthy of support) is to catch the ball out of backfield. He also returns kicks.
Coming into this season, Lynch rushed for 1874 yards to 267 leads and 18 TD with a duration of 70 meters. He has also 34 balls for 272 yards and caught 2's td. Lynch was also averaging 23.0 yards a return.
Gene Lynch are also good, as he has two cousins on the Cal roster, Virdell Larkins and Robert Jordan (WR). Lynch was raised by his mother Delisa Lynch.
Marshawn Lynch reminds me of a cross between Edgerin and Ronnie James Brown. He is a franchise-type back, which should be taken early (top 10) in the 1 Round in 2007 draft (if he decides to come to) and would be a perfect fit for a West Coast offense, he has put the ability to be all things needed in the WCO.
