Become a book editor?
For years I wanted to be a book publisher. I was good at English at school but never made a level. My level of English is pretty good though, and publish documents of knowledge for an IT company so having a good eye for punctuation, etc. I love to read and for years have thought that I would become a book editor. My problem is I do not know how to do this! I've seen that you can start taking courses in book publishing and I'm thinking of making one, but I have no idea of how to actually find work! Any ideas?
There are hundreds of book publishers. Write to a couple of them and ask. Forget the advertised courses as they are of little use in the book world.
