What exactly are the 7 seals in Revelation, int Bible.?
I was thinking about the revelation and 7seals recalled. I think I could be symbols of something physical, but if so, what are they representing?
Every time you ask for an interpretation of Revelation, can not use the word 'exactly' in your question. 8 ^) People have been mistaken for 2000 years that only what the book means, which is symbolic or allegorical, what it means to be literal, etc. There are lots of sevens in the Bible the number seven, apparently has some meaning beyond just a number of things. In Chapter 5 of Revelation, the seals are opened by the Lamb (Jesus? Chances are, except why not say it?) The top four release of the 4 horsemen of the apocalypse - Strife, war, famine and death. The fifth seal provides an overview of those who were killed by the Lord. When the sixth seal is opens there are a large earthquake. When the seventh seal is opened, all hell breaks loose (perhaps literally). Angels trumpets. What is wrong. This happens for several chapters. I have to say the book of Revelation makes some very interesting reading. But I do not think anyone can begin to tell you what you say with authority, although I have heard and read many people seem to think they have it all figured out. Keep your mind open when you read, and read a variety of interpretations / exegetical.
