Is it easy to teach yourself a language?

So I learned French in school for 5 years, but now I've finished school I would like to teach my fluent. I do a course in college or something unless there is none in place. So I am curious would be possible to teach yourself French? If so how long would it take if you put the effort to see Thanks results?.

How do you teach yourself to play guitar?

I always wanted to learn to play guitar. I heard that some people are just taught them self how to do it. So I'm just wondering how you teach yourself?

I think they only use the Internet and books instead of one as in another person helping you

There are some really good teach yourself books saxophone for beginners who want to learn?

I am 14 and recently bought a saxophone and I want to learn play it. I do not particularly want to take classes in a school of good music, and I think I could learn from a "teach yourself" book, but I do not know which would be best for a complete beginner. If anyone has used any of these books and recommendations, his advice would be greatly appreciated!

I just started playing, but it will be a junior year, and I pretty much taught me how to play, but only because he is very similar to the oboe, which is my main instrument for 5 years now:) ok wellll, a book that is really good many teachers have recommended to my band was the "Rubanko elementary method. It is a blue book, and saxophone, the author is "Hovey. this book may appear to have a lot of excersize and boring stuff, but trust me, you need to have your basics down and good before going to play real songs and material. I do not remember my elementary method book, but there should be plenty of stops for you practice. also, with each book, in front, has a chart management, which tells you which keys to press to play that particular note. im pretty sure it will be able to tell you how to read music as well, if you do not already know. in the back of the book has some very easy songs to play when you learn how to play a few notes, like hot cross buns (: oh yeah! here is a link to amazon, where you can buy the book online Rubank-Elementary-Method-for- Saxophone, if you did not want to do this, if there is a shop music in your city, and the leading high school music, music RBC, etc. (you can find them in a phone book) that will probably lead books like this and others you can also try. the people there also has some tips on which books could be very good for you.
