The long-awaited film adaptation of CS Lewis's masterpiece does not disappoint. The work of Lewis has long been admired, especially by the more intellectual of Christians. Lewis, a former Atheist, used symbolism very much in his books and this movie is a perfect example.
In the film, as in the book, a group of four children in the search for World Narnia through the back door of a large piece of furniture as a "closet" means. Found in this mystical world of children that animals can talk as well as giants, dwarfs, centaurs, and other animals too fantastic to describe. In true good versus evil, fashion, the film shows the constant battle between the White Witch and her evil army and the good lion Aslan and his brave army.
This film has an excellent job bringing the fantasy world of Narnia to the big Canvas made. The technology and special effects are so incredible that you are always fascinated by the characters in the search for the screen, in particular Aslan, the lion. He dominates every scene he's in and becomes more and more people, as in the course of history.
The children of the story are just like normal everyday kids and shows this with their constant bickering and teasing of one another. However, if the situation requires it, they all pull together and show great courage and sacrifice, which is a Inspiration for children and adults.
Whether you are familiar with the book or not The Lion, enjoying the Witch, and The Wardrobe immense. After seeing what was in this story brings the film, I can not wait to see some of the other CS Lewis books from the Chronicles of Narnia done in producing films also.
