Anyone who reads the book Silence of the Lambs (not just seen the film) or from other novels of Thomas Harris's Hannibal?
I'm reading "The Silence of the Lambs "right now, and is a great book, but I was hoping to hear some more about the reader. Thus, the following four novels that Thomas Harris has written, what do you think is the best and why? That one (s) is similar (in the plot, writing style, characters, etc.) to "The Silence of "? Lambs, Red Dragon Black Sunday"-Hannibal-Hannibal Rising Thanks! Oh, also, there is another famous Harris that I missed? Thanks
I love Hannibal end of the book is much better than the movie, although I love Anthony Hopkins as Lecter. This book has much more of Dr. Lecter in her silence. I think are very similar in writing style, but are each of much of its history. My favorite was less Hannibal Rising. I like anything Hannbial Lecter, and I was excited to learn more about his childhood .... but it was not my favorite. Although this book is obviously the most about him is about young though Lecter. Not on Hannibal we all know.
For those of you who have read Thomas Harris' "Hannibal Rising", what do you think the book?
I read the book, then heard many criticisms about it. Given that is the first book of four, but last letter, I thought it was pretty good. I felt I gave a description reasonable events may help explain why Hannibal is who he is. all in all, a well-written book. None-the-less I would like to hear other points of view 'on it. :) Thanks!
I liked it. I realized I was in a lot of worse books critical of the list, but I thought that was the way nicer than "Hannibal". I agree with you that is easy to explain why Reader is the way it is.
