Balancing your diet properly is more important than how much you eat, and not even have to be difficult. Our bodies are complex machines that require many different nutrients to be able to reach their full potential.

In other words, while you are receiving the prescribed amount of all major food groups, you can go a little nuts with what's left. Proper diet not have to feel like a college calculus class, and this is just one of many popular examples of guidelines very simple diet that just plain work. It's amazing what we can avoid problems when we stop doing things to the point of excess.

What to eat after weight loss surgery?

I am considering weight loss surgery. What do you eat after surgery? Could you just follow the same diet (without surgery) and get the same results?

If you are considering surgery, Why are you asking if you can get the same results following the same diet? Surgery is the last option for those who are seriously overweight, and all other methods have failed. It seems that you want to try to change your diet, which is good. If you have not tried the diet and exercise, then you should. This surgery is dangerous and full of risks. Spend time exercising and eating healthy foods. It took a long time for you to put on weight, so it is going to take a long time to remove it. Be patient and you will be rewarded for their efforts. They give very strict instructions on what can and can not eat after surgery. For example, You can not drink and eat at the same time. You can not eat all that it contains huge amounts of sugar or fat. Initially limited to a liquid diet, then allowing things such as gelatin, or soft foods. You should also consider the consequences of having this type of surgery done, not only in the short term, but that long term, in the future. Most people with this type of surgery have some type of complications, and they do make a lot of weight.
