What You
What was the lowest point in your life and how old were you?

What was the lowest point in your life? How old were you? What did you to get out of it?

The lowest point in my life was in my early 20s. I was a stay-at-home mom with small children. After my youngest son was the hospital for 6 weeks, he died. Shortly after we moved from an urban area of a rural area. I began to have difficulty sleeping. Whenever I tried to sleep I would have one of those episodes that you seem to be awake, but can not move or ask for help. I started to try to avoid sleep. Over time, I began to lose balance. If I I moved my head quickly I would fall in that direction. I started to cry about things that were not distressing and laughing at things that were disturbing. My husband just said to visit her family for some time, you'll feel better. I really do not think it would help. I just tried to answer as best I could, because I still had to take care of my children. Fortunately for me, a nurse stopped to let some things that had been donated to the clinic. She was just making rounds taking donations for the young families. When she saw my state made an appointment with the doctor. He heard me, then he said: "Try to get away from home, maybe get a job." I thought what the hell I can not deal with the responsibilities I have now, much less looking for child care, and employment. Needless to say I followed his advice. I resolved the problems I had to get a job, and soon after my problems began to disappear. I think it was just having a goal and the activity in work that the goal is what helped me. I found that the case in all my life. When I start to have negative thoughts / feelings that recognize it as a depression. I throw myself in a new activity such as work, volunteer or other type of project. All the negativity goes away and the sun shines again. For me, finding a goal and work process toward this goal is always life changing. Works for me all the time ..
