If you're reading this, you are most likely a fan of Anne of Green Gables. Lucy Maud Montgomery, a Canadian author, created the character of Anne Shirley - spelled with an E - when he wrote this book for young people and women in 1908. Based in Canada's smallest province and home Ms. Montgomery, this novel is written in Cavendish beautiful, Prince Edward Island. An orphaned girl, filled with an incredible imagination, he finally finds his place in a house with an elderly woman, Marilla, and his brother, Matthew.
Just because I'm a fan of this kind? I was fortunate enough to grow in the neighboring province of Nova Scotia, and spent many summers camping too Anne of land. It really is as beautiful as the history and describes how the movie portrays. Of course, nowadays it is very touristy, with thousands of people around the world flock to see exactly where this was inspired international celebrity. You can take a ride in Matthew Cuthbert wagon ride around Green Gables, or wander haunted woods and imagine Anne and harrowing experience of Diane Anne when she fell into the black hole. Or you can simply sit on the dunes of red sand, overlooking the ocean, and be inspired as much as Lucy Maud Montgomery and his created character, Anne, were. One may be allowed by play in Charlottetown, or visit the myriad shops, Anne - of cookbooks, dolls, t-shirts.
Lucy Maud Montgomery stories are not only well-written, but they also reassuring with positive messages interweaved between the pages. It takes us back to a more innocent time, where we found a delightful character and full of hope and living life to the fullest. Anne lives in the present moment, embracing nature and all those around her, where she finds true happiness in their relationships with young and old. I miss this kind of writer - Inspiring one with a simple, clean story and one that brings unconditional love for this feisty, loveable red-head. If you have not had the opportunity to read these books take time. We need positive messages that circulate in our world and the feelings of hope. When we are inspired by what we read, we can be motivated to serve as a source of inspiration to those around us.
