Why is it important to learn from the history of their own culture?

I have to write a paragraph for homework why it is important to learn on the history of their own culture. I need at least three good reasons. Also, if I get an A, which I do, I need another paragraph about why it is important know the history of other cultures. I need at least three good reasons for that too. I just cannot tonight and need a little help please.

"The Grand" said eloquently. To add that, I would say that is a part of their heritage, something that will always have with you, nobody can take away. You will always be a part of that family, no matter what your circumstances are. You belong. That can change. You never lost nor will ever take from you. If you do not know about their culture, do not know who you are, you do not know about his "family", or special, coming from such a rich heritage, and that's sad. When learn other cultures, it gives you another perspective on life and other ways of thinking. It gives you a greater understanding of the world, and taking into account other views. It enriches your life to take that knowledge and take some of them to life, food, clothing, ceremonies, beliefs, celebrations. It adds to the diversity and richness of his life. (For example, may be Italian, but I love Mexican food, clothes and colors.) For example, even thought I am not related to our ancestors from the time of the War Revolutionary. But I'm well read enough about the sacrifices and contributions unparalleded appreciate and realize they did not only for themselves, but more for all of posterity. We did not even know, but they wanted the security and freedom for us. I love them for what they did. That's my family. Nobody can take that from me. I am rich in that knowledge. Now that there is an ethical culture, but American culture is based on the life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. (Because of that pride my family ", I became one of them ... as a revolutionary war Reenactor. It has greatly enriched my life.) They also have an ethnicity, of 3 nationalities, and it is also interesting to compare different ways of living, thinking and doing. I am proud of each of their cultures, I belong to families Ethnic. I know who I am, and have something nobody can take me: a rich cultural heritage.

As you learn to be content with your life?

I am very upset that I'm not beautiful. I really want To Be Beautiful so badly. Pls do not say I BET YOUR BEAUTIFUL because it is not true. I just wish I could be charming for a day. I WANT TO BE PRETTY really really. How can I learn to be content with my physical appearance that is one thing I wish I could change in my life.

You have a beautiful name;) See what it takes to become beautiful: Repeat daily phrase some positive about himself, as simply saying "I'm beautiful." After a while, this could take some time, you really become beautiful. It works, and I hope you try it:)

What do you feel others can learn from their habits?

I have family and friends ask how I can run an aggregate of $ 1400 per month. I'm curious to know how other people manage their money in a budget. What can you learn from other habits, past or present? What kinds of experiences changed the way we manage the money?

I can tell people what not to do: Do not use credit irresponsibly, and if you have to ask it is irresponsible, is already on the wrong track. The absolute first thing you pay is the rent / mortgage. Even if you have to go hungry, or God forbid, is given out. Do not lose the roof over your head. Second is your bill. The third is your next car / insurance bill. And learn to cook for himself, eating out is a waste of money. These are the basics. Im my apartment complex, I'm amazed at the number of university and postgraduate not learned that the income comes first and are always to be expelled. And they seem very nice driving cars.
