"The Magician and the Fool" is Barth Anderson's second novel. He uses his experience as a tarot card reader, a complex thriller in the vein of the "DaVinci Code create. "The book is a fantasy, an ancient tarot deck is rotated and the surreal plot throws readers into a kaleidoscope of changing perceptions. There are a lot of provocation of murder, mystery and chaos, and add the literate prose and rich detail, read a thought, too.
Shame, leaves Jeremiah Rosemont his career as an art historian and go backpacking in Nicaragua. A stranger tracks him to an inn and gave him a cryptic message and a plane ticket to Rome. There he is in a mysterious plan to authenticate an ancient tarot deck involved, dates from the fall of Troy. Soon he becomes involved in murder and conspiracy.
Meanwhile in Minnesota a homeless tarot readers, as Boy King is known to go Dumpster-diving and find a suit with an old symbol in the pocket and led him to believe that he of the old Forces pursued. Are they real or just a figment of the imagination?
Both men struggle for a sense of the supernatural events around them, as their lives slowly attack each other.
The two protagonists start on a mystical journey in this highly imaginative tale told from alternating Perspectives. The site itself wound, it helps to know something about the Tarot. But even if you at first you curious and drawn, anxious to learn more about be confused to learn the mysterious secrets and hidden characters. In fact, you may want this one, in order to insure that you do not miss, with a significant import read.
