Is there a movie finally in the works of Edgar Rice Burroughs Stories on Mars?
Who owns the rights to the story? Are there plans to turn it into a movie anytime soon? I heard several years ago that someone was planning to do once the information technology was at the height .. Well, OK until Giddi ..
Actually, no ... no immediate plans to film this story, according to variety.
Book suggestions? What should I read next?
My favorite book is Watership Down by Richard Adams! I also have read stories of watership down and plague of dogs by Adams. Some of the book that I liked what I read are: ax series hatchet, brians winter, the river, ect ... Ratha series between the creature series used hidden Tarzan by Edgar Rice Burrows of Mars series by Edgar Rice Pelucid series by Edgar Rice called the wild white fang island of blue dolphins my side of the mountain range I like books survivors or those with animals as main characters. NO hary potter / narnia or crap like that (no magic book)! NO books love story, eck! NO vampires, dragons, demons, warewolves, or anything like that. NO murder mystery or political (ZZZzzzz. ..) have any suggestions based on what I like? 10 points for the person who sends me to the library! im already looking in: the savage warriors series
FINALLY Redwall by Brian Jacques, a favorite childhood book / series of mine. Start with Redwall, so if you like it pass the Mattimeo, Mossflower then. Other books I would like Tailchaser's Song by Tad William, very similar to Watership Down (except the cats instead of rabbits), where they have their own religion, social order, the language ... Piper at the Gate by Mary Stanton ... I hardly remember, but I remember that I liked a lot when I read it. This is a variety of creatures (mainly horses, but also a collie and a bird), who are fighting against an evil force that mankind is oblivious to anything by Jim Kjelgaard. They may be too young for you, but all are really good books about animals (all realistic adventures, animals do not speak, is mainly about its survival in the wild story) Into the Wild - True about a young rebel who burns all his worldly possessions and wander through the wilderness of Alaska to survive without the influence of money and greedy society Felidae by Akif Princci - Verrry scary book, something that resembles the Plague Dogs. It's about a cat who moves to a new town and discovers that someone / thing is killing other cats so hideous. Well, I think it's a kind of mystery and murder, "but not really. You'll like it. Trust me.
Do you remember the name of Western written by Edgar Rice Burroughs?
Yes, the same guy who wrote the Tarzan, John Carter series. "I remember Apache Devil
When you get right down to the John Carter series is really a western. More or less.
