Any recommedations author?

Here are the types of authors I read: Nelson DeMille (probably my favorite) Wilbur Smith (One of my favorites, but a little slow) Dan Brown (excellent) Michael Connelly (Just got into this, I like it) Michael Crichton (past efforts have not been great) Dennis Lehane (very good) Clive Cussler (pure fun) Dean Koontz - Although I'm not a fan of horror, I also read Stephen King, who is not my bag! James Patterson --- Kind too light of Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child - - (I love this stuff) Harlan Coben (good, I live in NJ, and he writes like that in place) This is just an indication General Stuff I read, I'm always open to new authors, if you are familiar with the above and have any recommendations new author, I would appreciate your reviews.

Try Malorie Blackman: Noughts for example, and the crosses and things of nightmares
